Mrs. Carolyn Koblitz (Grandma)
Mrs. Koblitz was literally the happiest bubbliest person I have ever met. I was lucky enough that my father married an amazing woman in my mother and my step-mother, Judy. Judy's mother Mrs. Koblitz was clearly where Judy got her bright and shining personality. She was always smiling and always laughing, giving hugs, and encouragement. Although I wasn't able to spend a lot of time with her she truly touched my heart. She helped take care of my father when he was sick and the thing I admire about her most is my favorite quality in anyone, she smiled in the face of adversity. I actually think that smile may have permanently been affixed to her face :o) Mrs. Koblitz was truly someone that anyone would be blessed to meet and I'm really glad I got the chance and wish I would have spent more time in her pressence. I'm really sad to see her go home but I'm sure she's up there with my dad having a good time now. No more suffering. Love you grandma, sleep in peace.
Please say a prayer for my step-mother Judy. After taking care of my father day and night for 2 years, she found out months later that her mother had lung cancer. She had been taking care of her mother for the last 10 months. 3 years of taking care of the people closest to you and losing both of them right before your eyes has to be one of the hardest tasks anyone can encounter. I know she has the strength to carry herself through but prayers couldn't hurt.
Mrs. Koblitz will be laid to rest starting with visitation which will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 3 at the Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home in Fort Thomas. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 4 at St. Joseph Church in Cold Spring. Burial will be in the St. Stephen Cemetery in Fort Thomas.
Memorials: Hospice of Bluegrass of Northern Kentucky, 7388 Turfway Road, Florence KY 41042.

Amy,
Please, please, please give everyone a hug for me and especially Judy. I have been thinking about her a lot and I am praying for her and for her family. It always felt like Carolyn was the center of their family. You couldn't have written your post any better.
She had a wonderful personality and made everyone feel so welcomed and loved. She was the sweetest person! I love you Amy and I am glad that we were able to see each other on Saturday. I hope you are doing well and staying strong! Love you,
Kathryn
