Mother's Day!

I wanted to think of something fun and different to do for Mother's Day this year. So we surprised my mom and took her to the Butterfly Show. We got there a little early so we went to the park and took some pictures, first

At the butterfly show a butterfly landed on Jimmy's shoulder.

We had a really great time and went to eat at Rookwood Pottery for lunch. For more butterfly show pictures check out the art blog!

My Art

I have always been a huge fan of art and I never ever have time to make it. With the summer off of school I've decided to create as much as I can. I made another new blog for my art. Check it out!

LBYC

So last night I decided to take a little break from my packing and studying and packing and studying to have a drink with my cousin and her boyfriend and a bunch of people I didn't know, lol. I ended up having a great time. We went to the Ludlow Bromley Yacht Club, I had never been before but it was a nice atmostphere. I ended up seeing my step sister Megan there too which was really cool!

They made me do shots!

Jamie, me, Jamie's boyfriend Scott, and his twin brother Phil

Lol looks like he had one too many beers

Swine Flu

If I hear about this flu one more time I am going to scream. Why do we live in a country where people freak out about EVERYTHING? Of course 100's of people in Mexico died from it. There are parts of Mexico that aren't exactly fully developed. More than likely they don't have the type of medical resources that we do. We've had one death. A toddler, and it's more than horrible to hear but a toddler's defenses aren't what most people's are. The moral of my story is, thank you for letting us know this flu is out there and that we should be cautious and see the doctor if we have symptoms. But that's it. The end. Do you know how fast the regular flu spreads? Do you know how many elderly people die from it because it turns into something else? Quit trying to scare the public into quarantining themselves into their house and stocking up food and buying masks etc, etc. It's ok to be cautious but being psychotic is another story.
