I'm glad someone is as excited about the holidays as I am!  They're coming!

I'm back on the bus again finally.  Not my favorite place to be but it's cheaper and better for the environment.

I have been slacking on my reading lately but I'm back into the book I've been reading called Radical by David Platt.  It's one I really wrestle with, it does a good job at making me feel like a not so great Christian.  Which I know is really not the purpose, it's really just to evoke some type of radical response which I can appreciate.  I loved this line from the book today.  "Why not begin operating under the idea that God has given us ecess, not so we could have more, but so we could give more?  Now that's radical."

This is absolutely true.  A lot of guts. Learning a lot about this right now.

Grilling and drinking wine every day this week.  Such a good idea!  I've so needed rest and good food.

She gets mad at me a lot because I read every night before I go to bed.  She's covering the ipad to make sure I don't play with that too.
