Memorial Day Weekend Fun

This weekend was one of the best weekends I've had in a long time!  Full of tons of fun.  Friday night we decided to go to Star-lite Drive In, in Amelia for Blended, Godzilla and The Neighbors.  Aside from the last two movies being really stupid and the temperature drop we had so much fun!

Saturday I got to see my step fam at Ethan's 2nd birthday party.  My baby step sister has her second baby on the way, Paisley, and Ethan is so adorable!  Love spending time with them.

Next my sister and I had our second photo shoot to raise money for New Orleans at Devou, pics to come!
Then we were off to Findlay Market for Sushi making classes!  So much fun!

This class was such a good time, we didn't know but it's also BYOB so you can bring whatever you want to drink.  I had expected to be a girls night out type of thing but it was all couples and then my sister and I, but whatevs, we had a ball.  I almost won an ice cream for best sushi roll, but I got runner up.  I definitely recommend this class!

Sunday we had fun serving at Crossroads and then took some more pics but this time at Eden Park with some of the funnest, sweetest people you'll ever meet, pics to come.

We ended Sunday with a BBQ at my aunt Dianne's and uncle Mike's to see my cousin Michael who was in town for the weekend.  Our Florida trip group was there and just grilling out and hanging out on the deck had us so excited at the thought of being around the pool, grilling, with the smell of the ocean and waves in the background!  I can't wait!
We spent our day off painting my sisters room for the big move in day.  I can't tell you how many times I stopped this weekend and just felt incredibly thankful for all of these blessings, for this life I've been given.  I felt a huge sense of purpose this weekend in what my calling might be and how I can get to work on it.  I've been really hard on myself lately.  Feeling the need to get everything right and to know more and to do more.  While all of that is great I don't know how concerned God is with all of that.  There is freedom in Christ, there is JOY in Christ.  When you find Jesus you don't leave everything you know and do something different, although some of us do.  Even though he makes us new, He needs us where we are to be a light wherever we are.
